Zippers, hoops, buckles, metallic logos; exposed hardware in almost any form is a serious source of inspiration for me lately. Blending raw elements with highly finished materials in a way that is simple but elevated is a stroke of genius, as far as I’m concerned. The simplicity of 1017 Alyx 9SM’s Fall 2019 runway has been one of my favorite showings in Paris this season because boy, do they know their way around the art of the buckle.
I love how edgy something as streamlined as a single, oversized logo can make a bag feel. And of course, how edgy it in turn makes me feel. Sometimes you’ve just gotta let your inner rebel free. At least now I can be a very fashionable rebel.
My closet has a built in shelving unit that was perfect for storing and displaying my bags.
Also, the bags I tend to use alot, I sometimes don’t put them in their dustbags.
I've been using tote bags since I was a freshman and so far so good. actually, come to think of it, most girls i know use totes masquerade
ShoestringTravel, I too work in a conservative atmosphere, where, my NBF's are the flashiest I've been able to get by without some strange looks. I feel most comfortable with Bottega Veneta, which I think isn't repped very well, so I have times when I want to get rid of all my replica bags and get authentic ones. But, the authentic ones I want, are not entry-level designers…lol. Bottega! boinquo
